Rights & Bytes Boat Edition - Amsterdam Dance Event 2018

It’s been one month since our 'Rights & Bytes' Boat event during Amsterdam Dance Event, which was a huge step forward to create more awareness for a common understanding of Music Recognition and Complete Metadata, as well as protect the interests of Labels, Artists and the Writers of Music, and to offer fair accouting solutions to IT giants. Together we are strong.

Thank you Warsteiner for the support, thank you Association for Electronic Music for starting the discussion years ago, thank you DjMonitor and Frank Rodi (APRA/Amcos) for being the pioneers of Music Recognition Technology, Johan Visser from Buma/Stemra for taking over a leading role and making the Netherlands a better place, Ashley Howard and Liz Kenneally for shaping the PRS/PPL to bceome a future-orientated PRO, Floris Slootmans from SABAM for the broad know-how and the intention to get things moving, Karine Mauris and Marc Azaïs from SACEM for their massive investment in France, Kevin Benz from BMI, Sebastian Spring, Martin Korrodi and Michael Wohlgemuth from SUISA, Markus Bos and Dominique Franken from SENA.

Thank you Timo Maas and Renaat Vandepapeliere for the music, and we’ll see you soon at the next Rights & Bytes edition.
