Paradise launches Global Publishing Service

We have launched a brand-new global tech and data driven music publishing administration service. The new publishing service is to complement Paradise’s existing suite of recording distribution, neighboring rights and label services and will enable its clients to tap into yet another revenue stream.

The main focus of its new publishing service is on collecting publishing income from online usages by music platforms such as Apple Music, Tencent and Spotify and by social media platforms such as TikTok, Facebook and Instagram. Various types recording usage data received from music services as well as from several MRT and monitoring companies are being cleverly used to maximize publishing royalty collections.

Through Paradise’s publishing service artists not only have the ability to collect royalties due from major territories such as Americas and EU, but also in emerging markets including Sub-Saharan Africa.

Paradise’s set up is fully independent and based on direct registrations and royalty collections, bypassing the traditional publishing set-up of using middlemen and sub-publishers, thus avoiding any sub-publisher fees and unnecessary deductions.

Paradise’s publishing service is spearheaded and led by Anne Jenniskens, long-time industry visionary in the field of licensing, publishing and music-tech. According to Anne “launching our new publishing service is a key step towards positioning Paradise as a one-stop-shop-rights management solution for content creators and owners.”

Paradise has local offices in Berlin, Amsterdam, San Francisco and Mexico City. The latest addition is Paradise Africa, operating from Johannesburg, South Africa, which provides label services tailormade for African clients based on direct relations with platforms and collecting societies in the region. The company’s strategy and operation on the African continent are overseen by Paradise Africa’s managing director Sarah Jane Nicholson. Sarah Jane has built several independent, locals artists careers and developed them globally.
